Located at Millenia Walk, The Dark Gallery is Singapore's first Artisanal dark chocolate-themed cafe where you can discover a myriad of single origin chocolates as well as chocolate blends that will sweep all you chocolate lovers off your feet. Some of the sweet treats sold here include ice cream, bonbons, macarons, cookies, and hot and iced beverages.

Unlike most cafes, The Dark Gallery sits in the middle of Millenia Walk and houses a small seating area. Most of the selections are  freshly made using couverture chocolate sourced from gourmet chocolate brands; Valrhona and Cacao Barry, as well as other small-batch bean-to-bar chocolatiers.

Plus, the desserts and drinks served at The Dark Gallery are very affordably priced - considering the quality of cocoas and the portions served.

Chocolate Cube Hazelnut Latte - S$9

For those in need of a caffeine and chocolate boost, you can opt for the Chocolate Affogato. Affordably priced at S$7, the drink comes with a voluptuous set of frozen chocolate blocks and you are encouraged to add the steamed milk and hazelnut espresso based on intensity you prefer.

Else, you can also take your time to add the drinks in depending on how quickly you want to finish up your drink! I would just chill and wait for these chocolate blocks to melt on their own if I were you!

Single Origin Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Platter ($12)

Indulge in a wholesome spread of Single Origin Dark Chocolate Ice Cream with this platter! At just S$12, you can choose from a light and fruity 64% Madagascan, a floral and spicy 70% Dominican Republic, and an intensely bittersweet 72% Venezuelan. The ice cream is also accompanied with an information sheet that tells you the Acidity, Fruitiness, Bitterness and Intensity of each chocolate ice cream served!

Single Origin Chocolate Pastries Platter ($12)

And, of course, including everyone's favourite Single Origin Chocolate Pastries Platter! The platter is made up of two fun- sized 64% Madagascan chocolate macarons, a tartlet filled with 66% Ecuador dark chocolate ganache, a homemade s’more of molten 70% Dominican Republic dark chocolate on a torched marshmallow and graham cracker, and a mini trifle of 72% Venezuelan dark chocolate mousse, caramelised bananas, brownie chunks and whipped cream. I will highly recommend you to share this platter as it might get a little cloying after a while!

The Chocolate Rhapsody - $18

Since not everyone might be a fan of dark chocolate, here's another option for you to choose from! Since I'm not that huge a fan of dark chocolate, I really enjoyed this platter as I loved the creamy and smooth textures of their milk chocolate ice cream too!

The Dark Gallery’s signature dark, milk and white chocolate ice cream that sits on a bed of crunchy chocolate “soil”, surrounded by dollops of silky chocolate mousse, crispy chocolate meringue and cacao tuile - the ultimate indulgence. It's best meant for 2-3 persons but we shared it with a group of 5 and still couldn't finish it!

Frozen S'more - S$7.50

Upon order, these Frozen S'mores will be torched right before your eyes to a crusty finish. This treat comes in the form of a block of 80% dark chocolate ice cream which is coated with graham cracker crumbs, then evenly ensconced in homemade marshmallow and blowtorched to achieve a melty, gooey texture - yum!

Other than these chocolate desserts, you can also purchase other take-home treats such as Ice Cream Cakes, Macarons or even Bonbons which are curated with different dark and milk chocolates!
