Hey, everyone! It's been so long!
Recently, I was gifted the ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5-inches (ZE550KL) to do a review and I'm going to start off with a short blog post on some of the more distinct camera functions on this new phone.

The new ASUS ZenFone 2 comes in 3 sizes - 5-inch (ZE500KL), 5.5-inch (ZE550KL) and 6-inch (ZE600KL), with incredibly slim 3.9mm edges which makes it extremely comfortable to hold. And did I mention how sleek it looks? The phone embodies the iconic ASUS concentric-circle design which gives it a beautiful, tactile effect. It even clinched the IF 2015 Design Awards!

If that's not all, the ASUS ZenFone2 incorporates a physical rear key as part of the new Ergonormic Arc Design! So regardless of if you are right or left handed, you can now enjoy the ease of snapping selfies, adjusting volumes and even retracing your steps without having to fumble through your phone.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 (ZE550KL) comes with a charging port and a charging cable! The phone comes in Black/ Ceremic White/Glamour Red, weighing around 170g with battery and holds a microSD card up to 128GB of memory.

Here are some of the other key features of the phone:
- The best auto-focus in a smartphone camera
- 13MP Rear Camera with Laser Auto-Focus, as quick as 0.03 seconds
- Up to 4x brighter photos in low light with PixelMaster technology
- Sleek and Ergonomic Design (IF Design award winner)
-  Corning Gorilla Glass 4
-  Long lasting battery life with removable battery

For this blog post, I wanted to specifically highlight the camera functions of the phone which is one of my favourite aspects of the ASUS ZenFone 2 (ZE550KL). These days, we often crave for the ease of snapping a photo on our phones without having to go through the trouble of adding unnecessary filters so as to make the photos look like they're of a higher quality. With the ASUS ZenFone 2, its 13 MP PixelMaster camera and its f/2.0-aperture lens captures stunning, high resolution photos with ZERO shutter lag.

This brand new laser autofocus feature will greatly reduce the blurring of photos and also enhances image stabilization. The phone is also coveted for its industry-leading Low Light mode which employes pixel-merging technology to capture up to 400% brighter photos at night or in low light scenes. You won't need to use a flash anymore!

Look at all the photo features I got to choose from! There are around 18 features for you to tinker with, and some of the options include Depth of Field, Effect, Selfie, GIF Animation, Panorama, Miniature, Smart Remove, All Smiles, Slow Motion and Time Lap, etc.

The manual mode of the camera allows you to toggle with the camera using the functions of a DSLR. You can manually set the ISO and the aperture!

The photo I took using the Manuel Mode.

Another feature I loved was alsothe HDR mode, allowing me to shoot pictures that are crystal clear which saves me A LOT of time since I won't have to pile on additional filters to my photos.

And for those people who tend to Mei Tu Xiu Xiu their photos, the camera is also has a Beautification feature so that it will help you achieve smooth and flawless skin - who doesn't love that?  Seems like it concealed my pimple and dark eye circles pretty well!

And as I was sending the pictures to my computer, I realised that its email function enabled me to upload more than 1 picture to my email at a go which saved me tons of time. When I use my iPhone to transfer photos on a daily basis, I'll have to manually do it one by one and it usually irriatates me to no end, especially when I have a slew of photos to transfer.
