Macdonald's Launches A New Festive Menu - Beef Clubhouse Burger, Grilled Chicken Clubhouse Burger, Truffle Flavoured Shaker Fries and Red Velvet McFlurry® with Oreo® Cookie Bits

From 26th November, enjoy these festive treats at a Macdonald's near you. Complete your festive treat with the coveted Truffle Flavoured Shaker Fries (from S$3.25), Coke Float (S)1 (from S$2.90), and for dessert, the Red Velvet McFlurry with Oreo Cookie Bits (from $2.90). 

Each Clubhouse Extra Value Meal, which includes a choice of Grilled Chicken Clubhouse Burger or Beef Clubhouse Burger, French Fries (M), and a refreshing glass of Coca Cola, will be available from $8.60! Top up $0.80 to enjoy your Clubhouse burger with Truffle Flavoured Shaker Fries and a Coke Float (S). 

Customers can also choose balanced sides as options by swapping their fries and opting for a corn cup at no extra charge. They can also top up $1.20 to change their side to a Garden Side Salad. The Garden Side Salad features whole leaf lettuce, red and white cabbage, crunchy carrots, corn kernels and tomatoes, served with a delicious Japanese dressing. While stocks last. 

Personally, the Beef Club House burger were probably my favourite out of the whole lot. I've always been fond of the beef patties at Macdonald's, especially in my Quarter Pounder (I'll always order up the double Quarter Pounder) and my double Cheeseburger (which made me even tried beef in the first place).

However, I wasn't a fan of the truffle fries as it lacked the distinct truffle flavour, and tasted more like onion flavoured fries that were a tad too salty. I'm really hoping that they can improve on this since once the word "Truffle" is out, people DO have high hopes and they're gonna get slammed real badly if they don't meet these expectations. But, if you're just having the fries just for the thrill of the truffle scent, then by all means go ahead! I wouln't deny that I could smell a strong whiff of truffle when I first opened the shaker bag, but I was a little disappointed that that was it.
