Two weeks back, I attended PARKROYAL's annual "A Gift Of Hope" Christmas celebration where they hosted underprivileged children from Thye Hua Guan Moral Student Care Centre @ Bukit Panjang. The celebration was a heartwarming affair as we witnessed the light up of the Christmas tree, where these children hung their Christmas wishes in hopes that corporate and hotel guests would grant them. The Christmas wishes were fairly simple - a new backpack, a new set of colour pencils, etc and Thank God they were swiftly fulfilled by the kind donors within 15 mins.

Hotel guests and members of the public are also encouraged to help make their Christmas wishes come true by buying a gift, or making a monetary donation from 4th to 23rd December! All proceeds will be channeled to fulfill the children's Christmas gift wishes, and the hotel will also kindly contribute a token sum of S$1000 for the children's school supplies in 2016! The children will also get their gifts when they return to Spice Brasserie on Boxing Day for a festive feast with the hotel's management team!

Apart from the Christmas light up, we were also treated to a medley of Christmas carols and a dinner at Spice Brasserie with the children! A miniature playground was also blown-up for them in the restaurant so that they could have their ball of fun after the sumptuous meal - how thoughtful!

To add on to the festive cheer, the chef at Spice Brasserie have also whipped up a series of Festive Feasts for the whole family from 14th December to 3rd January 2016! Expect to feast on goodies like the mouth-watering Gammon Ham, Roast Turkey, Jamaica-style Leg Of Lamb with Roasted Garlic and Mint Gravy, Fillet of Beef with Madere Au Jus and the coveted Flame-grilled Mentaiko Rock Lobster - time to lose those calories now before gaining them back from the amazing buffet spread, huh!

Here are some of the dishes that we enjoyed from the buffet spread! For the crustacean lovers, you'll be hearted to know that an extensive range of crab dishes will also be available for you to dig into! Best part? They're all prepared with fresh Sri Lankan crabs!

Prices start from S$45 per adult and selected cards will get to enjoy 25% off.

On Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, expect to be treated to an even bigger feast with your family! For families with children, there will be festive activities such as Christmas carolers, Minion-themed kids corners, bouncy castles, balloon sculpting, face painting and so much more to ensure that there will be fun for the whole family!

Plus, specially on Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day,  you'll be in for a massive sweet treat! Expect an extensive dessert room that would be filled with festive sweets and treats such as an array of Yule Log Cakes, Gingerbread Houses, Mince Pies, Eggnog with rum and a rare sight of a chef preparing Flambe Cherries and Crepe Suzettes right in front of your eyes!

Prices start from S$60 per adult and selected cards will get to enjoy 20% off.

If you're into a cosy get-together session with your family this year, you can also order up the Festive Takeaway Platter filled with sliced and ready-to-serve festive favourites like Roast Turkey Slices, Pork Lover with Chestnut Stuffing and classic cranberry sauce, Honey-glazed Gammon Ham paired with homemade peach sauce, Cumberland Sausage, Salt-crusted Sirloin Beef with Au Jus dip and many more!

This will be available from 4th to 31st December 2015 at S$98 and selected cards will get to enjoy 20% off!
