[Adv] Kenjo Salon - Mucota Highlights + Treatment

Hello, everyone!

I'm back with another update about my tresses. If you haven't read about my previous experience with Kenjo Salon, you can read it HERE!

So this time, my stylist Gina Leong suggested that I go for the MUCOTA highlights and treatment so as so give my tresses some definition rather than sticking to my dull, black colour. Prior to that, I did tell her that I'm not a fan of bold highlights (pink, red, blue etc) because it's just not in my line of style. Plus, I wasn't into the idea of having a second colour sticking out of my head like a sore thumb. Gina too, agreed that such bold colours weren't suited for me and so she suggested that I go for something more natural which could blend well with my current hair colour!

We opted for 6RG instead! For those who are looking for something more eye-catching, I won't suggest you to choose this colour as it really does give a natural look which is only very obvious under the light.

As usual, I was given a list of hot/cold beverages to choose from, magazines to read as well as free wifi!

For this treatment, Gina used a series of Mucota hair products which helped the dye seep in thoroughly and for them to keep my hair feeling soft and smooth after the dye! A spray was first applied to my hair before applying the hair dye. After washing the dye off my hair, she then proceeded to apply the treatment lotion to my hair before washing them off!

Another point that I love about Kenjo Salon is how meticulous the stylists are when washing your hair. The hair massage was so comfortable that I fell asleep in the midst of the hair wash! Hehe.

Gina also gave me a trim and blew dry my hair so I left the salon with nicely blown C curls! Haha she also gave me tips on how I could do so at home and it was made really easy due to the C curls I did with them previously. It has already been more than a month now and my curls are still intact - something which I heard is quite rare from my friends since the nature of the C curls aren't supposed to last that long!
