The dishes at Si Chuan Dou Hua were made with the finest of ingredients, with authenticity at its best. We were treated to an array of a la carte and dim sum dishes, many of which got us swooning over its exquisite quality and how everything was so well put together.

Here are some of the highlights from their Dim Sum Lunch Buffet menu!

 Pan-fried beancurd skin roll

Glutinous Rice Roll with Chinese Sausage
"Char Siew" Bun with Preserved Vegetables

This topped as one of our favourites. The meat was firmly encased with a thin sheet inside the soft white buns so as to prevent the ingredients from spilling out, which is very different from the usual kong bak baos we usually would have!

"Hakka" dumploing with turnip - easily one of our favourites too!
 "Siew Mai" with diced abalone
Barbecued items (One serving only) - Soya chicken, teo chew stewed duck, BBQ pork ribs
Fragrant Yam Cake with Waxed Meat - tasted very similar to the textures of Orh Nee.

 Salted Egg Yolk Yam Buns!

Rather than Liu Sha, a salted egg yolk was placed in the middle of the bun instead which was a welcoming twist.
Pan-fried duck meat bun with Goose liver sauce

Of course, what is dining at Si Chuan Dou Hua without their signature Soya Beancurd? Their Soya beancurd did their name justice, with firm textures that you cannot get anywhere else. Here, you get to choose from their Hot or Cold renditions of the Si Chuan Dou Hua.

The hot version is served with wolfberries while the cold version was served with sesame ice cream.
