A week back, I was treated to a spa experience at Masego Spa which is also a themed Safari Spa which gives you a departure your hectic schedules and just relax in a safari-themed environment. When I first stepped in, I was amazed by the sheer amount of effort they have put in to recreate such an experience, and it really did feel like I was transported into a native setting.

They have around 14 canopied tents decked out at the spa, and I really can't reiterate more on how much it resembled a resort setting (!!)

They have a series of massage and spa services which would pamper you to no end, and this was the tent that I was greeted with!

I experienced the Tropical Abyss Deep Tissue Massage, and for those who are afraid of it being too painful for you, you'll be heartened to know that you would be presented with a form to fill in which you can indicate your choice of intensity. We were also given a robe to change into before the session.

The aim of the Tropical Abyss Deep Tissue Massage is to relieve tension and reduce stress through pressing on your muscle groups and deep tissue kneading. Indeed, I felt so much more relaxed after the treatment, and since I chose the "Medium" intensity, I wasn't in too much pain! You'll also be able to alter the intensity when the session begins - they are really all about taking care of your every need!

After which, I was greeted with a Antioxidant Scrub, which came in a Lemon scent. The main purpose of the scrub was to spark natural healing purposes and to exfoliate. I then went off to wash up before ending my session.
