Thanks to the people at Clozette, I was introduced to the New blanc:Chroma brightening & polishing gentle cleansing oil from Shu Uemura!

I've always been wary of Cleansing Oils, since I was afraid that they would aggrevate my skin's situation and make pimples pop out more with the oily base. However, I was proven wrong, as not only do they not leave any oily residue on your face, they can even act as a make-up remover as well!

A few Clozette girls and I were invited by the team to learn about their brand history as well as their other cleansing series over tea and cakes from Tiong Bahru Bakery! FYI, a Shu Uemura cleansing bottle is sold every 7 seconds worldwide!

The New blanc: Chroma cleasning oil not only cleanses your face, but also does the additional functions of removing stubborn makeup as well as exfoliates your face to remove dead skin and impurities! This leaves you feeling clean and refreshed with a brighter skin!

After which, we got to share our experiences and indicate the problems we face with our skin on a doll portrait.

We then got to witness the amazing power of the cleansing oil with the help of a make-up artist from Shu Uemura! It was done through a step by step demonstration, and it's important to start off with dry face and hands! All you have to do is to apply it over your face, leave it there for a while, emulsify with water and rinse it off!

We also got to witness the power of the cleansing oil on our hands, using various stubborn makeup too!

Ended off the session with a mandatory group photo with the girls as well as various wefies!

We were all given a sample of the cleansing oil to try it out for ourselves, and a few days ago, I received my first bottle of Shu Uemura's latest New Blanc: Chroma cleansing oil and I wanted to share the experience with you guys!

Here's the direction of use:

1) Apply the cleansing oil with dry hands on dry face

2) Emulsify with water

3) Wash off

I have never believed in cleansing oils since I have an oil based skin. But after using the New Blanc: Chroma, I had a new perception about oil based cleansers! I love how it also acts as a cleanser and a makeup remover. Saves me all the trouble in using so many products at once! I feel that it really pampers my skin, especially after a long day out.
