The buffet spread at The Westin is more suited for those who are in favor of local cuisines. The more note-worthy dishes were definitely the fresh prawns and briyani rice which got me going for a second or even a third serving. Unlike other buffet spreads, they focused more on Asian cooked food as you could see from the pictures above. The desserts were pretty impressive as well, and we were completely sold to the matcha fountain and the nonya kuehs. Personally, paying $42++ was quite a good deal for me.

Celebrated Wenda's birthday a few months back and we couldn't think of a better way to do it than to treat ourselves to a sumptuous hotel buffet! It was sort of like a belated birthday brunch since her birthday fell right into our exam period, but I couldn't be happier to have celebrated this day with one of my oldest and closest friends. :)
Spent the rest of the day lazing around, treating ourselves to tea at TWG and roaming around MBS. Definitely something I would start missing once school starts because I don't think we'll get such a luxury of time anymore. :'(
I've been really busy lately and thus, the lack of updates. Will be doing a proper one soon so do stay tune! :)
Toodles!
