The Sushi Bar
"In the end, loving your life is about trusting your intuition, taking chances, losing and finding happiness, cherishing the memories, and learning through experience. Laugh at the confusion, live consciously in the moment, and enjoy your life as it unfolds. You might not end up exactly where you intended to go, but you will eventually arrive precisely where you need to be."

A week ago, Shuang and I decided to meet up for some Sushi Bar pampering. We were coincidentally having the same cravings and could not resist the thought of thick sashimi slices melting in our mouths.
I fell in love with Sushi Bar ever since I tried it in Feb this year and the experience has been etched on my mine ever since. Those of you who have not tried, I strongly urge you to!! It's by far the best Japanese eateries I've been to in Singapore, and even tops Itacho Sushi in my list. Well, I haven't tried places like Hifumi or Sun with Moon, but until the day I do so, Sushi Bar is definitely my TOP go-to place for fresh and affordable Japanese cuisine.
You can check out my review for The Sushi Bar HERE
Chirashi Don - $24.90
Scallop Mentaiyaki - $6.50
Sashimi Slices (3 pieces) - $4.50
Ebi Fry Salmon Aburi - $16.90
Gosh, even looking at the photos makes me salivate!
Also, do remember to reach early unless you're willing to queue for about an hour! I queued for more than an hour the first time I went. We finally learnt our lesson and got there at around 1:15pm which was nearing the time that they started operating (12:30pm). Even so, we had to wait for around 15 minutes to be seated. They do take reservations on Weekdays, so DO remember to make one if you're not prepared to queue! Haha it's very much worth the wait anyway.
Oh what would I do without you :-*
