What they are famous for:
Chirashi don, Salmon Aburi Roll, Stirloin Steak

Atmosphere: 6/10
Price: 7/10
Food: 9/10
Service: 7/10

We had:

Ebi fry salmon aburi - $16.90

We knew that this was a MUST-ORDER since this was one of their signature dishes. The salmon was well-torched and it was extremely fresh! The ebi was crispy when served and I fell in love with the texture of the sushi when I had my first bite. Ingredients were aplenty, and would definitely order this again.

Sirloin steak - $14.90 for 100g

For all beef lovers out there, this is highly recommended!!! I could feel the beef slices melting in my mouth in one bite. They were done medium-well, with the skin slightly charred on the outside and the meat was really tender. A value-for-money dish with premium quality! Definitely a thumbs up for this.

Normal Chirashi Don - $24
(salmon, tuna, hamachi, mekajiki, scallop, ikura)

I can still remember how this bowl of Chirashi Don tasted till this date and it is by far the best I ever had!

I first thought that $24 was a little too pricey but after having the first mouthful, I knew I would pay for it over and over again. The sashimi were really thick and fresh with melt-in-your-mouth textures. This was even better than the one at Itacho and I've been swearing by this ever since I gave Sushi Bar a visit. Can't wait to bring my parents here to try the Chirashi Don and Sashimi here because I'm sure that they'll love it as much as I do!

It's one of their highly raved dishes so do give it a try! Oh, but don't order the $18.90 one if you don't like your sashimi to be chopped into little cubes!

 Wafu Spaghetti - $10.90

This was the only dish which I felt wasn't THAT worth it becos the portions were really small. It reminded me of the mentaiko pasta at Five & Dime and a little of the Angel hair pasta at Saveur. I wouldn't recommend you to order this. I would rather you use the money to spend it on another Aburi roll or smth :)

Service:
We queued for about an hour before we were able to enter the restaurant. They did state that they accept reservations but the line didn't get through when we called a couple of times, so we decided to wait it out. I would recommend you try making reservations or just be there early. The food was served rather slowly which one another disappointing point. :( Oh and take note that they do not take reservations on weekends!

Atmosphere:
Well, this place is really small so don't expect too much of a walking space! It resembles Japanese eateries you would see in Japan and it's located at the far end of Far East Plaza. We had a hard time looking for this place but once you reach Level 3 of FEP, the aroma of sushi would definitely lead you here. :)

Hope this helped!
Haha I'll blog about V day another time :)
