We had:

 Coconut Lime Cake - $4.50

The icing on top was pretty sweet but the lime cake at the bottom complemented the taste so it was still pretty alright. If you really do not have a sweet tooth then I would suggest that you not order this.

 Homemade Lemonade - $5

Oh my this was so so so good!!! The best lemonade I've tasted thus far. $5 was a little expensive but to me it was worth every penny. It was not too sour and they had mint leaves in there which made the drink taste really unique. Please do order this when you're there!

The Huat Breakfast - $17
(2 eggs, 2 bacon slices, jumbo sausage, beef pastrami, grilled tomatoes and sauteed potatoes with butter croissants on the side)

What a hearty breakfast! The portion of eggs were pretty huge and I loved that it wasn't too watery. It was very tasty, and fluffy enough too. :) Loved the croissants as well as the jumbo sausage. For bacon lovers, the bacon served here were not crispy so you might wanna take note of that. Still, it was delicious :)

French Toast - $12
(Brioche drizzled with maple syrup, topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits)

The toasts were thick so that was a plus point! Loved that they used brioche bread. :) Don't underestimate this because it was a fairly large portion, just that my camera couldn't capture it well.

Service:
The service staff were friendly and pretty helpful. Food was served promptly, just that the water part was self-service.

Atmosphere:
We went on a Saturday afternoon at around 4pm and it was still very much swamped. Got to sit outside which wasn't too bad because it had an old-school kind of atmosphere to it. This whole place has this really old-school vibe which is really different from the other cafes out there. From the gated entrance to the oldies that were playing and the dim lightings... this place is def a good place for a date or just to chill on a slow afternoon. :)

Finally met Carina on that day after a gazillion years! We were so busy during the holidays and our schedules were almost always clashing, so it felt even better that we finally got to meet after all that. Hahaha we met at 2:30 but only managed to eat at around 4pm because I brought her the wrong way and we ended up all the way at Novena. :/ Hehe but all was good after the meal. :>

And as usual, we did loads of cam-whoring because that place was really too pretty! And well, not like we can find such places easily in SG because everywhere is just so modernized these days. Hehe definitely a great afternoon spent with her. :)

And ending off with my #ootd for that day. Hehe thanks to Carina for this shot. She was so sweet the entire time, like helping me source for nice places with unique backgrounds and directing me to them along the way. :')

Have been attending the first week of school and I kinda feel like a fish out of water. Here comes yet another period of conditioning my mind to accept the fact that school has already begun and to get my ass up to study. 2014 hasn't gone very smoothly, yet. But I really do hope and pray that things will turn for the better very very very soon. I'll prolly blog about Phuket the next time!

Toodles!
