We had:
Scrambled Eggs, Fontina, Chives and Toast + Pork Sausage - $12 + $4
Club Street Social is famous for their scrambled eggs and they were really good. The eggs were runny (as you can clearly see) and creamy enough for my liking. The portion of eggs were really huge so it got a little gelat after a while. I had toast with butter and sugar, my favorite combination. Pork sausage, on the other hand, tasted just normal.
Truffle Toast with Runny Yolks - $14
Like I've always said, anything with truffle can never go wrong. So yeap, we went for truffle toast this time round since it was one of their specialities too! The aroma of truffle oil and taste was strong but not too overpowering. Downside's that they prolly could have added meat or something to this dish because $14 is a tad pricey for just a runny yolk and truffle oil.
Bacon, Egg and Maple Butter Panini - $14
Yum! Another of my favorite besides the scrambled eggs. The egg in there was an in between of scrambled and an omelette, and the bacon was not too salty. I loved loved the maple butter which added something different to this Panini. And it had just the right amount of sweetness. Yum!
The service staff were really approachable and attentive. Food was served promptly, and of quality.
Atmosphere:
Other than the fact that the place is a little small, it was really accommodating. Club Street Social transforms into a bar at night, so it'll be a slightly different setting as compared to morning. The cafe was classy, and gave me a good vibe. :)
