We had:
Crispy Fish Burger - $14
(Crumbed fish fillet, remoulade)
We figured that it would be good to order this since it's one of the more interesting and popular dishes we've seen others ordering. Loved the presentation though I'm not so sure about the taste of the burger. The fillet was fresh, but it tasted like any other fish and chip fillet out there so.......
Grilled chicken thigh burger - $12
(Peanut butter aioli, fried enoki)
I mean, how can anything ever go wrong with grilled chicken?! I'm not a fan of peanut butter, but I felt that it was a rather refreshing change to include that in a burger. The marinade of the chicken thigh reminded me a lil' of Mac's grilled chic burger, so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not......
GRUB Cheeseburger - $13
(100% freshly minced beef patty, Monterey Jack Cheese)
Being a fan of beef burgers, I knew I had to order this. However, I felt there was nothing special to the patty nor the burger as a whole.
Churros - $8.50
(Dark chocolate, tangy creme anglaise)
YAY, CHURROS! No one can ever say no to such fried fragrant goodness. Its basically fried dough with sugar, something that really reminds me of the Chinese Youtiao just that this is very much westernized. This would have tasted much better if it was less oily and if they provided condense milk instead of creme anglaise.
Service:
Service was rather prompt, but I felt that the food came a little slow. We went on a Saturday night and it was really packed, so we were asked to do this online queuing thing where they could give me a call or a text once our tables were ready. We waited for close to half an hour before finally getting a seat outdoors.
Atmosphere:
This is possibly one of the few times I enjoy sitting outdoors. GRUB is located at Bishan Park and it was really a pretty sight at night though it was a little dark. We were lucky that the night turned out to be breezy and it felt really good chilling in such a nice weather. Perfect dating spot for couples, I must say!!!

This post is longgggggg overdue and apologies for that! Have been meaning to type this out days ago but I have been too swamped with shitload of things on my hand. October has been a horrible month, the worst month I've experienced this year and I'm hoping that while the year draws near, all the bad things will come to an end too. This week marks the second last week of school, and its just 2 more weeks to the start of finals. I still don't know how I'm gonna cope with everything, but one at a time perhaps? Just can't wait till the end of all of these and Jan next yearrrrrrrr. :>
Met up with the peeps for GRUB. Shawn's supposedly coming back this week but we haven't heard anything from him yet. Fingers crossed that everything is well and okay. Can't wait to meet you bro!!!
