I feel that ever since I started on food reviews, my blog has been reduced to just food and more food which makes me seem like I'm the most boring and gluttony person ever (Won't deny the latter).

So, in order to make myself feel better, I shall blog about something other than food today. Hahaha. I think they call this a mid life crisis or something. Maybe just a less severe one for me since I'm still not in a rush to get things figured out. I'm just bored I guess. And I hope that I won't be disinterested in food blogging anytime soon if not this space might just die.

1) Jasmine and Ariela's birthday!!!

One thing I love about school is definitely the company, and these girls have been there since Day 1 to make school life so much better. Some of the girls here were also the ones I went to camp with, attended a few lectures and tutorials with, cafe hopped and were also there at my lowest point. So thankful for these friends I've made in school. Well, I guess like what people always say: You don't need a lot of friends. Just a few who knows and will be there for you will suffice.

2) Taking a slower pace in life

I've been so swarmed by exams and projects the past 2 weeks that sometimes I feel I don't even have time to take a breather. Not that I've been studying extremely hard, but just that I've been feeling more exhausted than ever. Now that midterms are over, I can finally have more leisure time like reading and blogging... etc.

Ok, I may make midterms sound like a big deal but it prolly is for my major. We're more project and exams based rather than assignments.

3) The Fault in our Stars
Fault in our Stars--Cover

Picked up this read in Kino about a week back after hearing all the good reviews about this. It's not my usual sort of book, but there were so much to learn. I finished this about 2 days back and ended up in tears. I'm an extremely emotional person, and I love books that trigger my senses even more.

"Sometimes you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book." - John Green (The Fault in our Stars)

4) Fongkiat's POP

I think I'm extremely quick to blog about this since it just happened yesterday. Yesterday marked one of my bestest friend's POP and C and I were so proud of him. Too bad we missed the whole parade due to the sudden downpour and the traffic was so freaking congested.. Okay, but it all still ended well though my phone kept cracking up and the camera stopped working on a couple of occasions. Might be time to trade in my camera for a more legit and wifi enabled one. I usually do food reviews using my Iphone's camera since I feel that it works perfectly fine. :) Well, maybe not anymore.........

So happy that all of us went through his graduation and now his POP. Pity that Shawn wasn't here if not the whole thing would have been even more perfect. Bro, if you're reading this, we miss youzzzzzz!!! 15 more days till you're back in Sg so yayyyy. I guess by that time it'll be end of my crazy ass project period too so it'll be a great time to meet. :)

I was talking to someone (I forgot who :/) a few days back and we concluded that whoever said "if you can survive Alevels, you can survive anything else" is a hugeass liar. I feel like we're currently having 2 Alevels a year plus 5 times of the PW workload since we have 5 mods each.
But still, the long weekends are finally here!!!! Hehe cheers to an extended weekend for me since my free day falls on Mon and Wed. :>

Till then!
