Here's part 3 and the last part of my BKK trip featuring the last 2 days!

Woke up pretty early for Day 3 because we wanted to conquer Pratunam as well as the other shopping centers today. Did mostly Platinum mall for the first 2 days and we were proud to say that we covered everything!! Well, personally, I prefered platinum to pratunam as the stuffs there were much more fashionable. It depends on the type of clothes that you're searching for though. I was more on the hunt of good quality and yet, cheap clothes so I preferred the first. Went for more intricate designs this time because I usually do shop online / TB so I wanted more unique pieces other than the ones I usually buy.

So, as usual, hotel breakfast! We were given 3 different seatings on our trip so we were considered pretty lucky. Got the booth seats this time. :)

My usual American style breakfast. Yum!

And here we goooooooooo. Spent the morning at Pratunam and well, got some really really cheap stuff and so I was pretty satisfied.

(Major gap of photos this time. Basically shopped the whole day till it was near dinner time.)

And presenting to you........

MAC-BUBBLE.
Hahahaha as weird as the name sounds, it was just Mac's very own bubble tea. And it was sooooooooooooooo good!!!!! and cheap.

And then off to visit the surrounding shopping malls!

Stopped over at Central World for BonChon chicken after which. Initially wanted to have Coca Thai, but we were already pretty low on budget so we chose a cheaper alternative instead. The BC chix here wasn't thaaaaat cheap, but definitely less pricer than the one in SG. Hahaha we totally over-ordered by choosing the largest set just for the 2 of us. Even the guys seating next to us were pretty amazed with the portion of food we had :/

Left CW after that and explored the night markets!!!

IMG_0169 IMG_0170

We were pretty lucky as they usually have extra pop-up stores on a Friday and we happened to chanced upon it! They mostly sold hand-made goodies which were really pretty but some very quite pricey.

Ended off our night with a cam-whoring session with our pretty hotel room as well as Macs for supper with the extra large fries and drink again. As quoted from Claudia," Walao, the drink really big enough for elephants one lor."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Started off the day early again because we were heading over to Chatuchak in the morning!

We (Okay, I) were pretty stoked as we were given window seats this time. So breakfast with a view it was! :)

On our way there! We were pretty careful this time and were super anal to make sure that the taxi driver turned his meter on so that we wouldn't be conned.

Chatuchak was a really, really messy place. Like we had to shop strategically in order not to get lost and also to make sure that we covered what we had to since they had thousands of stores there ranging from art painting to pets and then fashion. Luckily. C printed out the map back at SG beforehand so we were pretty safe. The heat there was cray, and the clothes turned out not to be exactly cheap as well. Luckily, we still managed to grab some really good buys there and left that place feeling really satisfied.

Visited a few other places after that before returning back to the hotel to pack our luggage. We actually checked out right after breakfast and left our luggage with the hotel concierge before leaving for CTC. :)

Hahaha extremely satisfied with all my buys. I was so afraid that my luggage would exceed its weight limit but thank god we just almost made it. (Well, excluding the hand carries)

The tour guide came and picked us up at the hotel after that in the mini van along with the really friendly driver, who were also the ones who sent us to the hotel on the first day :) Couldn't be more blessed to have them around, and they were nice enough to even help us with the check in and even brought us drinks to make sure we weren't parched. So yay to good service!!!

Oh, and you can actually get free wifi from the airport. Just proceed to the info counter, fill in your name and passport details and they'll give this slip of paper with the username and password that's only exclusive to you. -.-

And back to Sg! :(

And that concludes the end of my BKK trip. :)

I was really lucky this time round to be able to travel with my best friend, and this was prolly the best thing that has ever happened to me this year. Another person I gotta thank other than my trusty green plastic bag would be Claudia, who covered all the admin details without a qualm and did it all so perfectly. Though not all things went smoothly for us, it all went better than expected. We didn't exactly book the tickets early, like just 2 weeks before we flew off but everything still went really well, so we were extremely thankful for that. It was good travelling with C, and I felt that I could really trust her in such a relatively dangerous foreign land. :) So here's to more trip in the future, and Taiwan next year. Yay!!

Till then!
Hope you found this useful. :)
