What we had:

Buttermilk waffles - $8.50
(With maple syrup and fresh fruits)

This was one of their signature dishes and therefore, it was a must-order for us. However, we felt that the waffles were not crispy enough and lacked uniqueness. I felt that they could have been more generous on the maple syrup too. The fruits tasted fresh though.

Classic Smoke Salmon - $9
(Dark rye, smoke salmon, lightly cured cucumber, capers, lemon)

This was good. I initially felt that it was a tad too salty for my liking but it became better after a few bites. Just a down side: The portion was too small. :(

Roasted Pork - $9.90
(Ciabatta, chinese roast pork, cucumber, pickled carrots and daikon, chilli, corliander)

We had high expectations for this because it was one of the more unique dishes but it turned to be pretty ordinary. They could have replaced the massive portion of carrots with tomatoes though. The roasted meat was too dry for our liking too. Carrots made the sandwich taste really..... raw.

Shrooms - $8
(Ciabatta, mozzarella, sauteed shitake, white button shrooms, lettuce)

The mushrooms were a little too sour for us. However, like the smoked salmon sandwich, it tasted better after a  few bites. Its a pretty unique dish so yeap, worth trying. :)

Service:
The service staff were really friendly and attentive though. They kept track of our orders and kept offering us re-fills. The water was really special as there were orange and strawberry slices in the jug which was like super healthy yoz. *Thumbs up*

Atmosphere:
The cafe was quaint, but also really puny. Best for really small group gatherings and coffee on the go. Also great for some me-time away from the crowd. :)

So today was more of a "lets go explore a new cafe" kind of day so we ended up at Stranger's reunion as I've been wanting to try that in ages. Haha, the day can never go wrong with them. Like ever. Best company you can ever get. Period. :)
