We had:
Drips Iced Shaken Lemon Tea - $5.00
Extremely refreshing! This is the perfect drink to quench your thirst on a sweltering afternoon. I don't usually like having Lemon Tea especially when I'm thirsty as it comes with a sweet aftertaste. But this, this was different. They could have lessen the amount of ice in this though. Yeah I get that its iced shaken but......
Cuppacino - $4.70, Green Tea Latte - $5.50
I didn't try these 2 but according to David and Fel, they were good. :)
Drips is also famous for their coffee and lattes, so why not give it a try?
Cinnamon Roll - $3.80
Remember to have this when it's hot! The people at Drips would first heat it up for you so that it's crispy from the outside and soft on the inside. I'm a huge fan of cinnamon but I didn't exactly like this because I felt that the taste was too over-powering.
Coconut and Custard Danish - $4.80
Oh oh, one of everyone's favorite! This has coconut and custard bits in between. It has the right amount of sweetness and the coconut bits do not have that bitter aftertaste which some has. Yum. Oh plus its hugeeee so it's pretty worth the money ;)
Rosemary Chicken Quiche - $6.80
This was a change from all of the other pastries. $6.80 or not, this is a MUST MUST MUST try. Highly raved by all of us to be the best one we ordered. I might have over-emphasized on the MUST but I don't care because its THAT good.
Cinnamon Pear Tart - $7.50
Perfect for those with a sweet tooth! Drips really lived up to their name to have the best tarts. Surprisingly, the pears were still crunchy even after they were baked!
Ehhhh the owner of the store who was serving us looked preeeetty grumpy throughout. Haha, okay benefit of the doubt. It's a Monday after all.
The rest of the staff were still pretty friendly though. :)
Atmosphere:
We were all saying how Drips would be the perfect place to bring our laptops and chill for the afternoon. It's also the best place to be with a good book for company. :)
And lastly, not to forget the great company for the afternoon! :)
Its really cool how we're all Instagram addicts and all have this "Don't touch the food before I take the photo" policy. Hahaha, feels like I finally found a group of people that I belong to. Nevertheless, I feel extremely blessed and grateful to have met these wonderful people. :) Can't wait for more cafe-hopping trips in the future!!
Hope you found my review helpful! I'm trying to cut down on words and emphasize on visuals instead, so as not to appear overly naggy. A picture speaks a thousand words. :)
Toodles!
