Hello.
Hello there, its been a while.School just started a week ago but it already feels like forever. We're officially back into our mundane routine of lectures and more boring tutorials. This sem's a little different for me though. I'm currently trying out different mods from the other faculties and I must say that some of them are really fun to be in. Take my marketing lecture today as an example. I was kinda dreading it as I thought we'll be back to learning dry boring Econs concepts again (becos I always fall asleep during econs lectures in JC) but surprisingly, I must say that it's prolly the best lecture I've ever attended in Nus. I can't complain much though, since I only secured it using 1 point while I heard it made many others bankrupt (hehe).
I've been enjoying myself in Korean too. Yes, 2 lectures and 2hr tutorials every week may seem very very taxing. But they say that if you love something, then half of the battle's already won right? To clear things though, I haven't had any prior interest in KPOP (Nor do I now) nor was I an avid K drama fanatic or anything. It's just something about languages that amazes me. Be it Korean, Jap, Italian, French or whatever. Just don't throw me things with too many squiggly wriggly and I'll be good. The teaching speed's really crazy, but I love how each Korean word pieces themselves together with the different vowels and consonants. Hopefully I'll be able to understand more by the end of this sem.
Major wise, I'm still struggling between NM and Socio but I guess I already know my answer. The future still seems blurry, and the thought of leaving school in 2/3 years time scares me. Seeing people mugging so hard and knowing what they really want in life scares me too. It's like they have everything figured out already and I have none. Funny how we are all so similar and yet so different.
