Food quest @ Upp Thomson Road!
Made a trip down to Salted Caramel today with W because we were rather curious about it and I'm so so so so so glad that we did. Well, some flavours here (Salted Caramel, Horlicks TimTam (OMG!!) and Earl Grey) were really unique and tasted sooooo good, plus the waffles tasted really soft and fluffy and we got to choose between Choco and Maple syrup which of course, we chose the latter. I swear we were there hyper-ventilating about how good it was the whole time. Heh, definitely worth the bus ride plus there're so many good eateries along Upp Thomson road too! It really made me contemplate if Udders or SC was better, but I mean, they both have different specialties so I guess they're both equally good. But of course, the waffles here won hands down. :)We stopped by a Dim Sum stall afterwards because it looked really appetizing and well, again, I'm really glad that we did. Heh, ok maybe it was a tad pricer than normal dim sums found @ hawker centers but it was definitely worth the price. We ended off with KOI for the day. :)
It felt really good catching up with one another, after not hanging out for weeks. :) Really glad to have her as my listening ear too, just like how it used to be in SR where we would stay late after school to study tgt / just randomly hang out at the concourse benches with our own stories to share, plus all the fun during CCC Camps with the guys. :) Omg, I can't wait for all the food trips we planned out too because even thinking about it makes me hungry.
Haha, ok I've been updating really frequently these days, but well, I really like how blogging makes me feel :). Plus, I get to look back on how my day was spent and it also acts as a virtual photo album for me, apart from facebook of course. Here, I get an outlet to express and when I get the urge to revisit memories of my past, they're just within a few clicks away.
Busy week ahead!
Toodles! :)
